A clean room. I just spent the evening cleaning my space and it feels really good. Life has been really busy lately and I've been a little overwhelmed with all that is going on. Work has been exceptionally busy so when I get home the last thing I want to do is pick up anything. All that I wanted to do is sleep or watch TV. I tended to make a bit of a mess. Now I must say that I wasn't sitting in filth or anything. I did my dishes regularly, I just had a lot of clothes, shoes and stuff around. I've been trying to organize my pictures into something that makes sense. To put them in an album instead of a lovely and carefully selected paper bag. It isn't that big of a project but recently I have lacked the motivation to get it done. There have been piles that just keep moving around my apartment. So today was a particularly difficult day that even had me reduced to tears at one point so I knew that I had to get a few things in order. I knew that I needed to clean my room. It is such a satisfying feeling putting things away and organizing things. Everything feels better when the floor is clean and all your clothes are folded and put away. I even put my favorite flannel sheets and fleece blanket on my bed. I think I'm gonna sleep really well tonight.
Another thing that made this evening extra special for me was that I was able to listen to my collection of Christmas music. Now I know what you are saying...WHAT! It's too early to listen to Christmas music! I agree...to a point. It is such great music and it's a shame to listen to it for only one month. I mean New York Christmas by Rob Thomas is one of my favorite songs of all time. And the way the Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan sing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is just divine. Plus there is the little matter of my annual Christmas CD. I have to start production of that now so that it will complete in time for people to enjoy it. It's a lot of work trust me. And don't worry I don't make anyone listen to Christmas music until its time. I get that it's a little strange.
So do you have any requests for this years cd? Now is the time to put them in.
Have Fun
Liss

I always want Band Aid on the christmas cd - and only the U2 version. Other ones are not as good!!
I agree about the clothes not being on the floor. I think happiness also involves a vacuumed rug. I would enjoy the Christmas CD much more if stupid 92.9 didn't play christmas carols 24-7. This year I won't listen to 92.9. I'll listen to Liss' Music.
I love the thought that October 1 starts the Christmas music time for you. I may adopt that same practice. I look forward to a Christmas cd from you each year.
And I have to say I love that 2 radio stations down here play Christmas music 24/7 the month of December so I can listen to it every time I turn on the radio. I love to sing to songs at work; it is even better when I know the words! One station plays wicked cool Christmas music so I am happy.
I don’t have an IPOD. I think I would like to get one. I have to balance cost, desire and
Would I use it…I think so… but is it hard to load?
